Wine or whine

So I reply to his request for wine at 8 and I say:

"Same place?"

I don't realize he's sent the message hours earlier (I was in meetings out of the office all day).

He says:

"Oh sorry I've got a t-off time in 15 minutes and won't be home until 10."
